Velotric Discover M Ebike
The Velotric Discover M is a mid-drive commuter ebike for riders who want assist that feels like a regular bike, on long climbs, gravel and pavement.
Velotric’s VeloCore mid-drive motor is rated 500W, peaks at 960W and delivers 100 Nm of torque through a Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain. A 48V 16.7Ah battery gives up to 95 miles on pedal assist, by Velotric’s estimate.
Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, an 80 mm air suspension fork with lockout, a suspension seatpost and 27.5 x 2.4 in Kenda puncture-resistant tires keep it steady. Velotric rates it for 440 lbs in total, with 66 lbs on the rear rack.
Fenders, a rear rack, a 500 lumen headlight, turn signals and Auto Mode, which adjusts pedal assist on hills by itself, come standard. UL 2849 certified, with a UL 2271 certified battery. Two sizes fit riders from 5 ft 2 in to 6 ft 7 in with the suspension seatpost.
